When you decide to apply for a job at Hammelmann GmbH, you make your personal data available to us voluntarily. In particular, this data can be:

The legal basis for the collection and processing of data is Art. 6 Para. 1 1 lit b in conjunction with § 26 Para. 1 of the newest version of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

 
 

4. Purpose of data processing

The purpose of personal data processing is to process the application and to carry out the recruitment process. Personal data is processed by the business unit that publishes the job advertisement to which the application was submitted. Personal data may only be accessed by authorized people in the business unit that is to employ the candidate, who are responsible for the employment procedure, as well as people who are in charge of administering the procedure (HR business unit, employee representatives).

 
 

5. Duration of storage

We store the answers and information that you supplied in the course of the application procedure for a period of six months. After this time, we only store the results in anonymized form, i.e. without your personal data, for statistical evaluations. This statistical data record does not make it possible to draw any conclusions about a natural person and is the basis of statistical evaluations.

 
 

If you are employed permanently, your personal data will be passed on to the responsible departments.

 
 

6. Your rights

It is important for Hammelmann GmbH to make our processes as fair and transparent as possible. This means that it is important for people who are affected to be able to exercise their right to opt out if the respective legal conditions apply, in addition to excercising the following rights:
