Ship cleaning systems on their way to Turkey

We are therefore proud to support Turkish Tersan Shipyard to increase cleanliness, quality and efficiency in corrosion protection. Our ship cleaning systems are the ideal solution for the environmentally friendly and high-quality treatment of ship surfaces.

Tersan Shipyard, as part of the Tersan Group, is one of the major global shipyards in Europe. It´s key areas of operations are the construction and maintenance of ships.

Aim of the project is to replace inconvenient sandblasting with modern water jet technology from Oelde. The advantages: Surfaces are prepared quickly and thoroughly for subsequent work steps, a clean and safe working environment is ensured and the filtering and disposal of debris is simplified.

Hammelmann is supplying extensive equipment such as DOCKMATES, which are on their way to Turkey this week, DOCKBOYS, high-pressure pumps with electric units, a SPIDERJET® M and other water jetting technology.

In order to save resources such as water and energy and to equip the shipyard for the new technology, Tersan Shipyard is comprehensively updating the infrastructure. Among other things, water pipes are being renewed and a water treatment system installed.
